We would like to cordially invite you to the 4^th annual EAST INNOVATION CONFERENCE – Responsibility in Business, organized by AmCham Slovakia. The online event will take place on November 23, 2021 at 1:00 pm.

The conference is a part of the Art & Tech Days Festival and focuses on the topics of Responsible Leadership, Sustainable Businesses, Responsibility for the Future of Innovation Entrepreneurship in Košice and the Social Impact of Innovation in Manufacturing.

Local media art artist Boris Vaitovič will present his work Responsive Tables. It is a responsive and interactive installation complemented by a unique hardware solution. Crosspoint between analog and digital responsivity, measuring electrical capacity of the human body in the space or changing visual condition according to the view of visitor ends in unexpected experience.

The exhibition will be open to visitors of the Slovak State Philharmonic Košice concert.

What should good participatory planning look like? Which form of participatory planning is best to choose for a specific project?

There is no instant and easy solution.

Before the participation process begins, it is essential to think about who we want to apply and what form or method we want to use to involve the actors so that participatory planning produces the best possible outputs regarding inclusive planning and climate change.

Online presentation of the exhibition Sole Soil and the artist talk with its authors Julia Vergazova and Nikolay Ulyanov will take place online on the Facebook platform.

Artists will talk about the history and transformation of the concept of “caring”. How self-care can be turned towards caring for the non-human beings around us, e. g., towards the soil. Developing an approach of “speculative thinking” as a political imagination of the possible, the authors of the project will present how technologies could become a tool for designing care interfaces and tuning planetary coexistence.

The exhibition project was created during Julia’s two-month residency on Human Responsibility as part of the Art and Tech Days festival and in cooperation between Creative Industry Košice and the KAIR residency program.

The last event of the 2021 festival is dedicated to the responsibility of creating not only digital products with an emphasis on sustainability for the client but also for the whole society.

The workshop will be led by Matej Belica, Design lead at Tatra banka and Raiffeisen International, co-founder of brands KERE and Kroy.
Matej focuses on branding and creating digital products. He has designed for multinational corporations such as Telekom, GL, and Raiffeisen Group. In addition, he managed to build several successful local brands.
